Mr. Dan McVicker, age 73 of Conyers, died Friday, August 31, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Cecilia McVicker, Conyers; son, Ronald McVicker; granddaughter, Kayla McVicker, both of Miami, FL; sister, Sandra Hall, Colorado Springs, CO; step-sons and daughter-in-law, Charles and Robin Lamondo, III, and Kevin Lamondo, all of Conyers; step-daughter and son-in-law, MaryCatherine and Michael Rothwell, Lenoir, NC; grandchildren, Charles Lamondo, IV, John Conner Lamondo, Aundrea Lamondo, Morgan Rothwell, and Madison Rothwell. Mr. McVicker was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was active in the American Legion, VFW and the Masons. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, 301 Honey Creek Road, Conyers, GA 30094 with Rev. Joe LaGuardia officiating. In lieu of flowers, love offerings may be made to Trinity Baptist Church. Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com.
