Mr. William “Lee” Miller, age 71 of Covington, died Thursday, August 30, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Clellie Miller; brother, Thomas Miller; and sister, Melissa Miller. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sue Miller, Covington; daughters and sons-in-law, Yvonne and Terry Tollison, Cumming, Regina and Mike Westbrooks, Loganville; grandchildren, Marcus Mitchell (Fornise), Joshua Mitchell (Ashley), Samuel Mitchell (Kiley), Abi Gibbs (Jordan), Andrew Pettigrew; step-grandchildren, Chris Tollison, Sarah Vinson (Jeff), Eric Westbrooks (Whitney), Ken Westbrooks (Laura); great-grandchildren, Lyriq Mitchell, Tinsley Mitchell, Jackson Gibbs; step-great-grandchildren, Alex Vinson, Carter Vinson, Logan Westbrooks, Chloe Westbrooks; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Miller graduated from Rockdale County High School and retired from Lithonia Lighting after 45 1/2 years of service. He was a very active founding member and deacon at Journey Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel with Rev. Billy Sheppard, Rev. Jerry Barrett, and Rev. Morris Mitchell officiating; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Sunday, September 2, 2012 and Monday, September 3, 2012 from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
