Mrs. Irene Skinner, age 91 of Conyers, died Monday, September 3, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Skinner. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Gerry and Marvin Hammonds, Madison, Norma Pittillo, Hiram; sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Saralyn Skinner, Conyers, Larry and Kathy Skinner, Covington, Roy and Deborah Skinner, Conyers; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter; brothers, J.B. Adams, Columbus, George Adams, Rome, Charlie Adams, Centre, AL. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 12 p.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel with Rev. Reese Sanders officiating; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 10 until 12 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. What a wonderful lady Ms. Irene was. I know all of her family will miss her. She always had a smile and glad to see you. She and Chet raised five wonderful children that were so good and faithful to there mom and dad to the end. Elory and Wonda Myers
