James Michael (Mike) Boggs of Shady Dale, GA passed away Saturday September 1, 2012 at Rockdale Medical Center. He was born on May 8, 1933 in Townville, SC to Hoyt Daniel and Ruth O’Neal Boggs. He was retired from Pittman Construction and was a farmer where he had livestock and a hay business. Mike enjoyed people and never met a stranger. Mike is survived by his wife Frances Boggs of Shady Dale, GA; son Tony Womack (Dee) of Madison, GA, son Neal Boggs (Geraldine) of Anderson, SC, son Steve Womack (Vickie) of Shady Dale, GA; daughter Theresa King (Kerry) of Belton SC; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents Hoyt Daniel and Ruth Boggs, son David Boggs, grandson Chris Womack. Services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday September 5, 2012 in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with burial in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Shady Dale. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 6:00-8:00PM. Guests may sign the online register book at www.wheelerfuneralhome.com.
