Charley Leroy Blake, age 61, of Conyers, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012, at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, Conyers Chapel (formerly Horis A. Ward, Rockdale Chapel), at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Bill Sheppard officiating. He is survived by his wife, Olean Blake; brother, D. C. Blake; sister, Betty Blake Andrews & Bo Gillespie; children, Charley Blake, Jr, Shannon Blake, Cindy & Roland Price; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; uncle, Clemie Lee Smith; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, B. J. Freeman and parents, Ralph Benjamin & Laverne Smith Blake. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 2951 Flowers Rd, S, Ste. 211, Atlanta, GA 30341, in memory of Mr. Charley Blake.
