CONYERS -- A store clerk was slightly injured Monday afternoon when three suspects robbed the store of cash.
The male clerk at Mattress Firm on Dogwood Drive told the Conyers Police Department that three young black men entered the store at about 1:40 p.m. Monday. The clerk said he was explaining the store's credit policy when one of the suspects grabbed his shirt, pushed him down and demanded money. The clerk reportedly said there was no money in the store, but the suspects made off with an undetermined amount of cash.
All three suspects were described as wearing ball caps. One had on a sports jersey and another was wearing a blue shirt.
The victim suffered cuts to his head and appeared dazed, according to the incident report. He was taken to Rockdale Medical Center for treatment.
