CONYERS -- A Conyers man faces child molestation charges in connection with transporting a juvenile female to a residence where she engaged in sex with multiple juveniles, according to the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office.
Raheem-D'Marcus Rashawn Smart, 40, of 746 Jefferson Drive, has been arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor - misdemeanor, enticing a child for indecent purposes, child molestation and interference with custody.
RCSO investigator Michael Camp said the RCSO was contacted on March 27 and informed of the incident that allegedly took place around March 23.
"A juvenile female sneaked out of her residence and was picked up in a vehicle by Smart, who then took the female to his residence on Jefferson Drive," Camp said. "It is believed that Smart provided a ride to the female for the purposes of taking her back to his residence to have sex with a juvenile male."
Camp said investigators believe she did engage in a sex act with a juvenile male and that Smart witnessed the act.
"It is (also) believed that the juvenile female then had sex and/or performed sexual acts on five other juvenile males who were also at Raheem Smart's residence, which were also witnessed by Smart," Camp said.
Camp said Smart then drove the female back to her residence.
He is being held in the Rockdale County Jail under $80,000 bond.
"This is still an active investigation and other charges are possible," Camp said.
