Philippa Zachary Price, age 92 of Decatur and Monroe passed away on January 30, 2013. Born July 21, 1920 in Cement, OK to the late Lumen and Luella (McGhee) Zachary, she is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years John and son Bobby. An avid reader, gardener and traveler, she enjoyed a long and wonderful life with her greatest joy being her family. She was blessed with a large family that loved and appreciated her practical nature, natural cheerfulness, and sense of humor. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Pat and Jerry Harris of Monticello, Bette and Phil Fitzpatrick of Tucker, sons and daughters-in-law Jim and Jane Price of Conyers, John Price and Sharon Callahen of Mt. Shasta, CA; Sister Irene Suttles of Owasso, OK; Grandchildren Mac and Rachel Harris of Covington, Hal and Amy Harris of Monticello, Holly and Andy Colson of Black Mountain, NC, David and Cheri Gollahon of Big Canoe, John Phillip Fitzpatrick and Jamie Martinez of Austell, Jeffrey and Paraskevi (Vee) Price of Loganville, Jason and Christy Price of Roswell, and Jody and Mary Grace Price of Monroe; seventeen great-grandchildren, a niece and several nephews. The family will remember and celebrate her life at Highland Creek Club House, Monroe in a private Memorial service February 2, led by the Rev. Rindy Trouteaud.
