Seventy-eight year old Jerry Purcell took advantage of the clearing weather Thursday morning to resume his daily one-hour walk in Olde Town Conyers. An avid walker, Purcell said he tries to exercise this way each day that weather permits. Purcell is a retired pharmacist who formerly owned a pharmacy in Avondale Estates for 35 years.
