The man shown in these images taken from store video is suspected of breaking into cars at two local industries.
CONYERS -- The Police Department has issued a lookout for a man suspected of breaking into several vehicles in parking lots in the Sigman Road area.
According to a CPD report, two cars were broken into on Feb. 15 in the parking lot at Hillphoenix. In addition, a suspect broke into a car in the parking lot of nearby Transparent Container and attempted to break into another vehicle.
Security video in the Transparent Container parking lot captured images of the suspect as he was getting into a gold or tan four-door Ford Taurus. Police said the suspect on that video appeared to match a suspect caught on video at the Foot Locker at South DeKalb Mall where he attempted to use a credit card stolen from one of the vehicles.
The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, wearing a red T-shirt, red zip-up hoodie, dark baseball cap, dark pants and black shoes.
Anyone who has contact with a vehicle or suspect matching these descriptions is asked to contact Detective Dwayne Jones at 770-929-4213 or Dwayne.jones@conyersga.gov.
