Barbara Jean (Manning) (Engram) Pitts 79, was called home on December 29, 2012. She passed away at her home with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Rhunelle Manning, brother Thomas Lewis Manning, two sons Dana Engram and Scott Pitts. She loved flowers, painting, crafts, playing cards, and working puzzles. She is survived by her husband Maj. William H. (Bill) Pitts of Conyers, Ga; son Thom and Lynn Pitts of Covington, Ga; daughter Rosa Crowe and Terri Johnson of Newborn, Ga; son Bill and Julie Pitts of Alpharetta, Ga; daughter-in-law Vicki Pitts of Oregon, ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two nieces and her beloved dog Sparky. Visitation will be at Wheeler Funeral Home in Covington, Ga. from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday January 3, 2013. Services will be held in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home at 2:00 PM on Friday January 4, 2013. Final resting place will be at Carmel Cemetery in Mansfield.
