Martha B. Arnold Hecking, age 92, of Covington, formerly of Decatur, died January 1, 2013. She retired from DeKalb Medical Center as an LPN after 32 years of service. She is survived by daughter, Nannette Arnold of Covington; sons, Thomas C. “Skip” Arnold of Lilburn and Robert L. Arnold, Jr. of Bradenton, FL; sisters, Colleen Bodsford, Betty Crowell, and Jane O’Conner, all of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Bill Bunting of Randleman, NC and Jim Bunting of Saledo, TX; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11 o’clock, Saturday, January 5, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Rev. Jan McCoy officiating. Interment will be at 2 o’clock at Arlington Memorial Park.
