CONYERS -- The Rockdale County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in identifying the badly burned body of a man found in woods off Ga. Highway 212 Sunday night.
According to Investigator Michael Camp, two hunters discovered the burning body in a small brush fire at about 6 p.m. Sunday as they were leaving the woods. The body was found in thick woods near Susong Road. A deputy who responded to the scene was able to extinguish the fire, Camp said.
Investigators worked into the night and again Monday morning gathering evidence at the scene, Camp said. The case is being treated as a suspicious death, with no definitive cause of death. Camp said the body was taken to the DeKalb County Medical Examiner's Office for autopsy.
Due to the condition of the body, Camp said investigators were not able to determine the skin color of the victim or his approximate age. The Sheriff's Office is asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident to call the RCSO at 770-278-8000.

I wonder if it is drug people. Remember the guy burned up in the back of the pickup about a year ago? I hate the idea of Conyers being a place where bad guys dump bodies. So, I am praying that we catch whoever is doing this. My New years resolution is praying when I hear bad news instead of complaining. Complaining hasnt really been working for me.
