Junior Master Gardeners looking for new members

Shown here are Junior Master Gardeners displaying some produce they grew. The local Junior Master Gardener program is now accepting new members. Rising fourth-graders to rising sixth-graders are welcome to register by May 15. The Junior Master Gardener program will begin meeting on Wednesdays, beginning June 12 to July 31, from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost is $60, which covers a JMG handbook, tours, supplies and a graduation pin. The minimum class limit is five and maximum limit is 10. The program is sponsored by the Rockdale County Cooperative Extension, Rockdale County 4-H Club and the Rockdale Master Gardener Extension Volunteers. Call 770-278-7373 for more information.
