Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival on tap this weekend

Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival on tap this weekend horse park

Plagued with rain and high winds during the last several years, the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival should get a reprieve this year as the festival is due to take place on the weekend under partly sunny skies and temperatures in the 60s and 70s. Bill Watson of JRM Management Services sets up the booths in preparation for the festival, which runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers. Patrons may shop, play and eat at the contemporary arts festival that will feature 300 arts and crafts, children’s activity and food booths. Admission to the festival is free with a $5 parking fee per vehicle. For festival information or directions to the Georgia International Horse Park, located just off Interstate 20, call the Conyers Welcome Center at 770-602-2606 or visit www.conyerscherryblossomfest.com.
