Blankenship home named Conyers yard of the month
The home of Mr. and Mrs. Blankenship of Azalea Circle received the landscape plaque for January from the Conyers Garden Club. Hundreds of jonquils are already growing among the carefully-shaped boxwoods. The camellias in the backyard are colorful and knockout roses should bloom in the spring
Girl Scout troop makes donation to Rockdale Animal Control
Girl Scout Troop Number 11593, a combination of Brownies and Juniors, who meet at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, have been collecting dog food, cat food, dog toys and cat toys for the past three months. Recently the girl scouts delivered their collection of items to Rockdale County Animal Control.
