Rockdale County Animal Care & Control Shelter
Location: 1506 Rockbridge Road, ConyersAdoption fees: $30 for a dog or puppy; $10 for a cat or kitten. Spaying/neutering is mandatory for all animals.
Hours: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays

Anyone who has lost a pet is urged to go to the center and bring a photo of the missing animal.
Questions to ask before adopting a pet:
• Can I make a long-term commitment to this pet?
• Will I be able to spend enough time with a new pet?
• Am I prepared for the cost a new pet will bring?
• Which pet is right for my home and my family?
