Billy Ray Thunder competes in the bareback bronc riding portion of the International World of Rodeo in 2011 at the Georgia International Horse Park. Presented by KR Ranch of Newton County, the International World of Rodeo will once again take place at the Horse Park on May 26, with gates opening at 6 p.m. and show at 8 p.m., and on May 27, gates opening at 5 p.m. and performance at 7 p.m. The rodeo features cowboys from a variety of ethnic backgrounds competing in bull riding, cowgirl barrel racing, bronc riding and calf roping, as well as an equestrian drill team demonstration and calf scramble for kids and women. Tickets are available online at www.internationalworldofrodeo.com for $15 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets at the gate are $20 for adults and $10 for children.
