Fall is in full swing at Evans Produce and Flowers on Ga. Highway 20 in Rockdale County with colorful displays of pumpkins and fall foliage. Darryl Barnes, a 15-year employee at Evans, was photographed on a recent morning moving in some more pumpkins to sell. Barnes said he likes his job a lot. "It's enjoyable, and each day is a learning experience," he said. Owner Ben Evans said Barnes "took the place of three workers," when he came on board. Evans and his family have owned the market for 37 years. Mountain apples are currently in stock, Evans said, so there's no need to make a long drive north to get some.
