    Georgia sophomore Torrin Lawrence won the Bulldogs' first NCAA indoor title on the track finishing first in the 400-meter dash during the final day of the NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., on Saturday.

    Georgia's Hannah Moore came in sixth on the 3-meter springboard on Saturday at the Zone B Championships at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center.

    The Georgia men's golf team slipped to 12th place on Saturday at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters.
  • Georgia Powers Past Siena 12-7
    Freshman first baseman Robert Shipman hit two home runs and had a career-high four RBI to lead Georgia to a 12-7 win over Siena Saturday at Foley Field.
  • Georgia Golfers Climb Leaderboard
    The Georgia women's golf team climbed six spots on the leaderboard at the Tiger/Wave Classic on Saturday. The No. 17-ranked Bulldogs moved to eighth in the 23-team field despite posting a 313, their highest score of the season, under extremely windy conditions.
  • Sherreard Holds on to Top-10 in Tallahassee
    Georgia State men's golf remained in 11th of 15 teams and senior Tom Sherreard maintained a top-10 position in the second round of the Seminole Intercollegiate at Southwood Golf Course in Tallahassee, Fla. Saturday. lt;br /> lt;br />"We had a tough day today," said Georgia State head coach Joe Inman. "But we didn't lose any ground. Tom's hanging in there, and we're hoping for a good finish for him. We'll have to come out tomorrow and hang tough to see if we can improve."
  • Baseball Falls Late to New Mexico State, 12-11
    In a rare instance, the Georgia State baseball team blew a late lead on Saturday afternoon and fell to New Mexico State, 12-11 at Presley Askew Field. The Panthers led 11-7 with just six outs to go, but were not able to hold the late lead.
  • Men's Tennis Rained Out Against Gardner-Webb
    Atlanta, Ga. - The Georgia State men's tennis team (8-5) had numerous rain delays trying to get the match in but rain forced the Panthers to cancel lt;br />against visiting Gardner-Webb (4-8) on Saturday afternoon. Georgia State returns to action on Tuesday against Lipscomb at 1 p.m. at Piedmont Park.

    A long distance travel west could not halt the momentum of the Georgia State baseball team which picked up its seventh straight win on Friday night with a 13-2 victory over New Mexico State. Junior David Buchanan pitched six innings of shutout ball for his second win of the season.

    KENNESAW, Ga. - The men's tennis team beat the sun out of bed this morning to pitch in and help out at the Atlanta Beat's first community appearance today, volunteering at their 5k road race and one mile fun run. The event, sponsored by the KSU Foundation, YWCA, and the Atlanta Beat, featured the coaches and players of the Beat, Atlanta's representative in the Women's Professional Soccer League.

    LAS VEGAS - Kennesaw State took advantage of all of the opportunities afforded it Friday afternoon and night, scoring 28 runs over two games in earning a doubleheader sweep of Southern Utah, 16-4 and 12-6. Ross Tendler had five hits and four RBIs over the two games.

    FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Senior high jumper Jerome McKinzie will begin his quest to bring home the Kennesaw State Owls first-ever NCAA Division I National Championship at 4:45 p.m. Eastern Time when he competes in the high jump at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Fayetteville, Ark.
