Some of you have made some really racist comments. Some of your comments sound like "Wow, there is NO WAY a white person would EVER commit a crime." While I agree that it is a lot of thugs committing these crimes, I would suggest that you don't just focus on thugs. In light of what's been happening in the news lately, you best keep your eyes on these wild-eyed, crazy looking white boys, too, who are subject to shoot up you and your whole family while you are standing there trying to determine if a thug is getting ready to rob you or not. So, my point is this. All races commit vicious crimes. Stop trying to make it seem like the white race is so chaste and never do anything wrong.

Now, let's pray that crime does not go up. Look at DeKalb, Clayton and Fulton. They are all 3 riddled with crime. Black folk are in charge in all 3 counties but the crime is out of control!!! I am inclined to agree with ctownslimm because Dan has done an excellent job as Tax Commissioner. He has done a lot of updating in his department so how can someone improve on that with NO experience. Yes, RJ blindly received those votes based on his skin color and there will probably be no improvements in that dept for the next 4 years because what can he do? Or he will attempt to make changes but because of his lack of experience, it will be probably be a lot of errors. Not everybody has a smart phone for the latest apps. So, he will collect that nice check and ride on Dan's coat tail for the next 4 years and that ain't right.

If you decide to rent it out, please make sure you screen your tenants because they can get in there and not pay rent and it will be h*ll trying to get them out. Every person who is in a position of power, hire their buddies for jobs. They want people surrounded by them who they feel they can trust. Eddie Long has all his buddies in top positions at his church. I am sure Oden does the same thing. So, Jeff is no different than the rest. He surrounds himself with people he can trust. If Jason Hill was elected, a lot of Oden's staff would have been replaced with Jason's people. So, let that go.

Do you want to live in DeKalb, Clayton or Fulton with all that crime? The small portions of DeKalb that are nice, one may not can afford to live there such as Dunwoody or the Northlake area. So, that leaves the rest of the county (DeKalb) which is VERY high in crime. You live here in Rockdale for a reason. If you did not like Rockdale and the low crime, you would probably be in one of those counties that I just mentioned. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I have nothing against Eric as a person but at the forums he just did not seem like he had a lot of experience and I think he admitted that. He didn't have strong responses to the questions. We cannot get caught up in skin color when it comes to candidates. We must look at the candidates' experience and their proven record of success and give them our vote.
